About Soft Somatic Circles
On The Floor or In Bed
This Awareness Through Movement lesson continues the exploration of circles on the floor. It's a lesson that can free your shoulders and improve your thoracic spine — freeing your heart and liberating your breath. This lesson is larger in the sense that you’ll need enough space for your arms to circle up above your head and around you. It will also prepare you for April’s Full Somatic Circle practice.
What You'll Need For This Class
A chair with a flat bottom
A bit of blank wall space (a smooth wall is best for this lesson)
Pen & paper (or download the included handout)
Space to walk around

The Awareness Through Movement sessions utilize gentle movements to activate a neuroplastic state to retrain your brain. We'll use this time to move, journal, and explore.
