Restless to Rooted

A 21-day embodied reset for women moving through menopause who feel restless, untethered, or stretched thin.

…and are ready to feel rooted in themselves again.

That Restlessness...

The restlessness you feel is a signal.

Something in you knows you’re here for more than getting through the day, even when your life looks full and successful from the outside.

You’ve spent years showing up for everyone and everything that needed you. But in this season of midlife, your body is asking for a different rhythm. One that honors that growing inner knowing that this season of life is meant to be lived with more meaning, presence, and purpose.

This does not mean something is wrong with you.

It means something is shifting.

A Path Back to Yourself

In this season of life, your body is not working against you. It’s inviting you to slow down and reconnect with your intuition, your dreams, and with life.

Restless to Rooted is a 21-day guided embodied journey through the SOMA cycle, helping you stop overriding yourself and reconnect with your body’s wisdom.

This is not about becoming a “better” version of yourself. It is about feeling grounded, connected, and fully present in your life again.

What becomes possible

As you begin listening to your body instead of overriding it, subtle but meaningful shifts begin unfolding across every layer of life:

  • Decisions feel grounded rather than reactive

  • You hold boundaries without hardening yourself

  • You intuition deepens

  • You feel more present in your relationships, your work, and the way you move through everyday life

It doesn’t happen all at once. But it does take root and it grows sustainably.

Why This Approach Works

Most women do not need more information. They need to feel safe, connected, present, and fully in relationship with themselves again.

Real transformation rarely happens through one breakthrough moment. It happens through small moments of returning to the body again and again until self-trust begins to feel natural instead of effortful.

That is why Restless to Rooted is built around simple embodied practices that gently reshape the way you move through daily life over time.

For many women, this becomes the beginning of a much deeper relationship with themselves and a more intentional way of living.

About Buffy Owens

For over two decades, I’ve supported women through seasons of transition, helping them reconnect with their bodies, reclaim their inner authority, and move through life with greater presence, self-trust, and meaning.

As a Feldenkrais-based Somatic Practitioner, breathwork facilitator, and creator of the SOMA Framework, my work blends somatic practice, nervous-system awareness, embodiment, and cyclical living to help women stop overriding themselves and begin listening differently to what their bodies are asking for.

My own life and practice have taught me that lasting change rarely comes through pressure, performance, or forcing ourselves to push harder. It happens when we learn how to stay present with what’s asking for attention and begin moving at a pace our whole system can actually support.

I believe women do not need more ways to fix themselves. They need spaces that help them reconnect with their own wisdom, desires, rhythms, and aliveness again.

When that happens, something fundamental begins to shift. Life feels more connected. Decisions become clearer. Relationships deepen. The nervous system softens out of survival mode. And women begin living from a place that feels more grounded, meaningful, and fully their own.

F.A.Q.

Have a question without an answer. I’m here to help—just ask!

  • This work is designed to support real life, not compete with it.

Many of the practices can be done in as little as 10–15 minutes, and you’re encouraged to move through the experience at a pace your body and nervous system can actually support.

This is not about keeping up or doing everything perfectly. It’s about creating small moments of reconnection that slowly begin changing the way you move through daily life.

  • You do not need any previous experience with somatic movement, breathwork, meditation, or embodiment practices.

Restless to Rooted is designed to meet you gently, wherever you are. The practices are approachable, guided, and rooted in helping you build a deeper relationship with your body over time.

There is no “right way” to do this work. The invitation is simply to begin listening differently.

  • That’s exactly why this work is built around small, repeatable practices instead of pressure or perfection.

The body changes through repetition, not intensity. Every time you return, you strengthen the relationship with yourself again.

You cannot fail at this work. There is no falling behind. Only opportunities to begin again.

  • Not at all.

While the journey is designed as a structured 21-day experience, you’re encouraged to move through the practices in the way that feels most supportive to you.

Some women follow the journey day by day. Others revisit certain practices repeatedly or move more intuitively. Your relationship with the work is allowed to evolve over time.

  • No. Restless to Rooted is not therapy, mental health treatment, or medical care.

This experience is designed to support embodied awareness, nervous-system regulation, self-connection, and somatic exploration through movement, breath, and guided practices.

If you are navigating significant trauma or mental health concerns, this work may be best explored alongside appropriate therapeutic support.

  • While Restless to Rooted was created with the menopause transition in mind, the deeper themes often resonate far beyond menopause itself.

Many women arrive feeling exhausted from years of overriding themselves, disconnected from their bodies, or aware that this season of life is asking for a different way of living.

Whether you are in perimenopause, menopause, or simply feeling the call to reconnect with yourself more deeply, you are welcome here.

  • For many women, Restless to Rooted becomes the beginning of a much deeper embodied journey.

Women who want ongoing support can continue inside The Embodied Well membership, where embodiment becomes a lived practice through somatic classes, Circles, the Practice Library, and the cyclical SOMA framework.

Restless to Rooted is designed as an initiation, not an ending.

  • Yes.

You’ll receive lifetime access to the full Restless to Rooted experience, including all core sessions, practices, and future refinements or updates as the work evolves.

  • Many women who arrive here have already spent years in therapy, coaching, self-development, or healing work.

What often feels different about this experience is that the focus is not on fixing yourself or gathering more insight. It’s about rebuilding trust with your body and allowing embodiment to become something lived instead of something understood intellectually.

This work meets you beneath the level of information.

  • That’s often where women begin.

Disconnection is not failure. It’s usually a sign that your nervous system has spent a long time prioritizing survival, responsibility, performance, or caregiving over connection to yourself.

This work is designed to help you reconnect gently, slowly, and without pressure. You do not need to force yourself to feel anything before you’re ready.

The body remembers in its own timing.
