Who This is For

This work is for midlife women who:

How We Begin

Before anything else, we get clear on why you’re here.

A Connection Session is a complimentary conversation so that we both better understand where you are, what's stirring, and map out .

We'll slow down together. I'll listen carefully. Then I'll share what I see as possible and if I sense that the timing isn't quite right, or that a different kind of support might serve you better first.

If there's a clear fit, we'll name it. If there isn't, you'll leave with a clearer sense of your own ground.

Pause for Purpose is not performance coaching and it is not about pushing yourself into a new identity.

It is a relational, embodied space where we:

  • Work with the nervous system rather than override it

  • Explore purpose as lived experience rather than concept

  • Practice boundaries, voice, and self-trust in real time

  • Integrate insight into daily life

Sessions are spacious, attuned, and practical. We track what is surfacing and help you move with it rather than against it.

Women work with me privately or inside small group containers. Both offer depth, clarity for intentional & potent action, and meaningful support.

From steadiness, clarity begins to take shape. Intuition deepens, discernment sharpens, and you radiate from the inside out. You have space to respond to what’s calling you forward—not by forcing action, but by sensing when something is ready shift.

What has shifted internally begins to show up in daily life. This may look like a creative project, a change in how you work or lead, or a quieter, more embodied way of living—supported by an inner steadiness rather than effort.

Why This Work Matters

This work exists because there comes a point in midlife when striving and compromising stop working and trusting your inner authority becomes essential.

For many women, this season arrives with something more than restlessness. A quiet but persistent sense of calling.

Not the ambition of earlier years, but something deeper — a feeling that there's a contribution, a creative expression, a way of living and leading that hasn't fully emerged yet. And that moving forward in the old ways would require self-betrayal.

The work I offer is not about fixing or improving that moment. It's about meeting it with honesty, presence, and care until what's been calling you becomes something you can actually move from.

I'm Buffy Owens. For over 20 years, I've worked with women at moments of transition, drawing from somatic movement, meditation, and embodied mentorship. My own life and practice have taught me that sustainable change doesn't come from pushing through discomfort, but from learning how to stay present with what's asking for attention.

That understanding shaped the SOMA Framework — a simple, embodied orientation that supports listening, discernment, and integration over time.
