Rolling With The Sounds Of Your Heart
Step joyfully into your next level of living at choice and using the power of your voice. For the August Drop-In Class, we’ll experiment with sounding and speaking from the heart. Bring a phrase, affirmation, or mantra to move with as you uncage your voice and expand your capacity to speak from your heart.

Shedding Subtle Fears
In this 75-minute Somatic Insights class, we'll explore movement and inner inquiry to shed subtle fears and doubts that linger in our biology. Working directly with the Soma (the body) through movement can help shift subconscious patterns that keep us stuck. Working directly with the mind can bring the subconscious to light and open us up to new possibilities.
We'll anchor our physical exploration in the psoas muscle. The psoas complex tends to be very responsive and is one of the first large skeletal muscles to respond when your nervous system perceives danger. Just imagine the drive to curl up in a ball or run for the hills.

You’ll want to wear clothes that you can move in and have space to move. Most workshops involve a bit of walking, sitting, and lying down.
When it comes time to lie down, you can opt to use the floor (ideal) with a yoga mat and a heavy blanket or beach towel on top. Or, you can do the practice in bed. Choose what’s right for you and the space that you have.
I’ll also make sure that you have access to my Home Practice Guide so that you know exactly what you need ahead of time.

Nearly all of the Drop-In offerings are perfect for beginners. However, there are times when we host events for intermediate and advanced practice. If a class is not suitable for beginners, we’ll make sure to include it in the class description.

After yesterday's class, I was set for the day. A wonderful calmness and so much less pain in the body.
